Over the past year Drakes Bar Furniture have had an increased demand for our design and bespoke furniture service. With builds ranging from divider screens, whole bars to fixed seating and booths we’ve had the opportunity to work with some fantastic companies and people who are starting out for the first time and require furniture for their small bar or newly taken over pub, restaurant, cafe or hotel.
Of course we have also been working with established large businesses such as breweries who are looking to revamp their bars and pubs from new bespoke bar, pub furniture, fixed seating and pews to upholstered cladding on walls and custom joinery. Some of our most popular Beer Garden Furniture are made from Rattan. We stock rattan chairs, rattan tables and Rattan sets along with the waterproof cushions. Rattan furniture is the perfect way to make your garden an extension of your premises. And because Rattan furniture is tough its a great choice for those areas that are prone to rough use (such as pub gardens in the height of summer!) Not only does it look natural its highly functional and cost effective, what can be better than that?

Summer might not be over but the days are starting to get shorter and it won’t be long before the evenings draw in and the temperature drops. When fitting out a premises the seating is almost paramount for a successful space. Fixed seating, booth seating or banquette seating as its also called can come in variety of colours, finishes, types and styles. We design build and install all types of fixed seating, pews and booth seating for pubs, clubs, bars, restaurants and clubs.
The beauty of bespoke fixed seating is that we can make the most of and take advantage of your space and features.
In a busy environment high backed seating can create quieter sections for a restaurant, bar or club. While in a working mans club or sports club for example it can maximise the space around a wall allowing for easy access in and out and the ability to use the rest of the venue for larger events which might include dancing.

What about bar and pub tables? Square tables are great for small nooks and crannies, they are also good to take advantage of the most use of space. You may find couples or individuals like seating at these so put them in areas slightly hidden away. Another choice for small spaces are round tables, groups of people like to sit around them so everyone can be involved in conversation and not feel left out.
