Why Banquette Seating for Restaurants?

With clever planning, seating generates a great flow for customers and staff around a restaurant, cafe, pub or club. It can be used to divide areas, create new spaces in a room and offer intimacy allowing for the perfect social meet up.

In a busy environment high backed seating can create quieter sections for a restaurant, bar or club. While in a working mans club or sports club for example it can maximise the space around a wall allowing for easy access in and out and the ability to use the rest of the venue for larger events which might include dancing.

The beauty of bespoke Banquette Seating / fixed seating is that we can make the most of and take advantage of your space and features.

We can come to your venue and measure up, give you advice and show you examples of our past work, finishes, types and styles.

Upholstery, Fabric choice

The type of fabric is of course very important for your seating. Food and drink gets spilt more frequently on fixed, booth seating in restaurants therefore its vital that it can either be wiped clean by choosing a faux leather for example or if a fabric is preferred choosing something with a pattern to hide any stains could be a wise choice.

Whatever your requirements Drakes can help and give you advice.

Wood finishes, stains and backings

This very much depends on the style of your premises. We can match existing decor, wood features and finishes and also combine them with other elements such as plastics or glass.

If you’re looking for a luxury feel to your premises, something maybe darker could be suitable. While a light finish can help reflect light and make a room appear larger, cleaner and modern.
